Easter Monday saw the sunshine appear and a large turnout for our annual tournament. Especially good to see Jim Gallagher come along and enjoy being down at the club again. Daphne Whittaker has asked me to pass on the thanks of herself and her family for all the cards and best wishes received following the passing of Hector last week. She also expressed her thanks to all who attended the funeral and committal last Wednesday.

Hector was known by many in the club and was universally liked and held in the highest esteem by all who knew him. You will be missed Hector.

Saturday 7th April saw the opening of the 2019 outdoor bowling season for CI Knock BC. President Louis Arneill unfurled the flag under glorious sunshine. (Lets hope the weather for the rest of the season will be as good).

Thanks to Ron McBride for providing his usual collage off the day. Great to see so many at the opening. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
