CI KNOCK BOWLING CLUB EVENTS APRIL 2019 |
We will be welcoming visitors from Bray Bowling Clubfor their return visit on Tuesday 16thApril. 25 members hope to travel.
The tournament will commence at 2:00 p.m. All members are welcome to play and join the visitors for a mealafterwards in the Stewart room at 5.30 p.m.
Dress code: grey trousers and club / white shirt.
For catering purposes it is essentialthat we know how many will stay for the meal:
Beef stroganoff and rice orchicken curry and rice
Vegetarian option: quiche with salad

Easter Monday BBQ
Our annual Easter BBQ and tournament will be held on:
Easter Monday April 22 at 2:00 p.m.
As the main building will not be available, we have to limit the numbers to 50(members only).
Hot dogs, tea / coffee and shortbread will be served in the North McQuay Pavilion afterwards. Cost :£4 tournament / £6 barbecue

Use of the green by visitors
The Committee has decided to permit visitors to use the green in company with a club member
This arrangement is confined to prospective members who wish to try their hand at bowling.
A voluntary donation of £4.00 per visit is suggested.
The visitors name should be entered in the visitor’s book in the clubhouse
Regulation footwear must be worn.

Club President Louis Arneill requests the pleasure of your company on Saturday 6thApril for the Opening Day of our 2019 season.
The official ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m.
Weather permitting, a tournament will follow after which a meal of beef stew and crusty bread will be served in the Greeves Room. This will give us the opportunity to sample the food provided by our new caterer, the Maple Cafe, Woodlawn Garden Centre. Scrumptious desserts (to die for) are being prepared by the Social Committee. Tea and coffee will also be served.
The charge for the day will be £10.00 to be paid on arrival. We hope as many as possible will take part. For those who can only come for the meal the charge is £6.00.
It is essential for catering that we know how many will be attending, so please email / text / phone me or return the attached proforma by Friday 29thMarch at the latest.
Dress code for Opening Day: Men: grey trousers and Club top.
Ladies: white trousers and Club top.
