I’m sure all of those senior members who remember former member, Vi McDowell, will be saddened to hear of her passing.
Vi was a lovely lady, who kept us all in order at the Ladies rinks every Tuesday afternoon at Knockdene, and was Lady President in 1999.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Our sympathy to her family at this sad time.

Hi everyone
As you will know by now the Mixed 2 bowl Triples Competition will take place on Tuesday 10 August, commencing at 1.30 p.m.
All teams will play 4 games of 5 ends. There will be 2 groups with the winners of each group playing in the Final of 6 ends.
After the Final we hope that as many as possible (including those not playing in the tournament) will join us for pizza in the Greeves Room, courtesy of the Club. The bar will be open from 5:30 p.m.
There will be no organised rinks on Tuesday evening.
To facilitate ordering the pizzas please let me know by Monday evening (9th) if you plan to attend.

Hi everyone
Further details for those members who wish to attend the Thanksgiving Service for Peter on Monday 26th July at 11.30 a.m. in St Marks Dundela:
Places do not have to be reserved (but it would be good idea to be early)
Social distancing is to be adhered to and face masks worn
For Track and Trace purposes, the Church requires contact details. To avoid queuing, it would help by handing in your details (name + phone number) on a slip of paper
After the Service Mary and family will move off promptly to the Greeves Room, CIYMS, where they will welcome everyone for refreshments.

To all members
It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Peter Bayliss this evening.
Peter, an Honorary Member, gave great service to the Club in his own quiet manner.
He was on the Board of Directors at Knockdene before our move to CIYMS. He served on the Committee and as Treasurer for a number of years.
Peter will be remembered as a true gentleman by all Club members and will be sadly missed. Our sympathy and thoughts are with Mary and the family circle at this sad time.I will keep you informed of funeral details.
I will update you re: funeral arrangements when available.
