The flag was unfurled on Saturday.
The floodlights are now up and fencing around the green has started.
The bitmac surface to the green and surrounds should be completed by the end of next week with the ‘carpet’ laying beginning on 18th April and all works to be completed by 29th April.
The official opening is scheduled for Friday 6th May
Congratulations to Sandra on being voted at Belfast Sports personality of the year.
Well deserved on the back of a very successful year both outdoors and indoors.

6th March 2016 peacefully at his home in Belfast. Beloved husband of Elizabeth, loving father of Cathy, David, Martine also a loving grandfather of Dale, Andrew, Peter, David and Annabeth.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday 10th March 2016 in Roselawn Crematorium at 9.30am followed by small reception for refreshments in Belfast Indoor Bowling Club, Shaw’s Bridge at 10.30am.
Deeply regretted by the family circle.
David has been a member of Knock Bowling club for many years and was an active member and contributor to the life of the club for most of that time. He was well known not only for his bowling prowess but also as a founder member of the Irish Bowls Coaches Association. The sport of bowls has lost a great contributor to the game.
Our thoughts and prayers go to David Junior and the rest of his family circle from Knock Bowling Club and its members.

Window frames for pavilion are arriving this week and hardcore should be in place by end of week in preparation for Bitmac to green area.

Work on our new bowling is still progressing despite the continuous rain!!
The pavilion was lifted into place at the beginning of the week and the roof is almost tiled.
Work on the green area continues with the last part of the hardcore going in place.
