Dear all, 

I regret to inform you that it has been decided that the pavilions and grounds will close with effect from 5.00pm Friday 27^th March at the very latest. Should instruction come from government to close earlier than this then that will, of course, supersede this decision. This decision is in the best interests of all our stakeholders but predominantly our members and our staff, their families and friends and the community in general. We will continue to be guided by the appropriate authorities and will keep in touch as things change for the better. In the meantime, take care and look after yourselves and your families.

Sad news  … Willie Watson passed away this evening.
Willie was an long-standing member of Knock with a distinguished bowling history.
He was an Irish International who competed at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Brisbane and Edinburgh, winning 2 bronze medals between 1978 and 1986.
He will be remembered as a fierce competitor with a dry sense of humour and will be missed by many.
Our deepest sympathy to his wife and family.

To all members

We are living through an unprecedented and what could prove to be a very long, difficult time for us all and you will know by now that, on advice given by the government, we have had no option other than to cancel our Opening Day.

I was looking forward to welcoming everyone to our 2020 season and it is disappointing for us all but especially for those members who have joined us this season.  How Covid-19 will affect the rest of our season, at the moment, no-one knows but I hope we will all look out for each other and keep in contact as far as is possible, especially with those living alone. We will keep you informed of any updates on decisions taken by the bowling associations when we get them, meantime until we can all get together again stay safe and Keep Well everyone.

Hi everyone 
Due to the current Covid-19 health crisis, it has been decided to cancel Opening Day scheduled for Saturday 28th March.

It is very unfortunate but not surprising.
We will keep you up to date with the state of play regarding the season ahead.

In the meantime keep well and look out for each other.
