Now in our 6th week of lockdown I hope everyone is managing to keep cheerful, enjoy the good weather and because of the reduction in traffic, the beautiful sound of birdsong.
Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any chance of us getting together on the green any time soon but all we can do is try to keep in contact with our family, friends and each other, especially those living alone, by whatever means we can, and hope that things soon start to ease a little Meantime I wish you all good health until this strange life we are living at the moment ends and we can get back to normal day to day living and most important, back to bowls and being able to socialise with our friends again
Take care and stay safe
Love
Irene
Hi everyone
What a lovely morning …
As you know President Irene was looking forward to the Opening Day of our 2020 season, BUT sadly Covid-19 changed all our plans.
We don’t know when bowling will commence again. Irene would hope that we could all meet, perhaps in late July, for a bowling session:
Irene has been in touch with everyone either by phone or by leaving a message.
In the meantime, take care, keep safe, and look out for each other, especially those living alone.

Keep well and safe .. I will keep in touch..

Dear all, Following the last email things, moved very quickly and we have had to close somewhat quicker than planned. The pavilions and grounds are now closed with immediate effect. This is regrettable but is entirely necessary to safeguard our members, our staff, our families and wider society in general. It is hard to predict when we may reopen but we will be guided by advice and instruction from the government, hopefully, if we all do the right thing it will not be that far away. In the intervening period, we hope you and your families stay safe.
