To all Members 

The ‘official’ rinks sessions have ended for the season.

However, as last year, Michael has kindly volunteered to run Rinks on both Monday and Friday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. He will keep a record of those attending.

Members can play at any other time, subject to there always being at least 2 Members present. Covid precautions re: sanitising etc should be followed and RINK DIARY bookings should be used … and please remember that ‘last person out’ should lock up.

Nan(… and congratulations go to the Men’s Vets on winning the Hatch Cup)

The Veterans played Downpatrick in the final of the Hatch cup at Belmont BC and returned as victors.

Congratulations to everyone who played for the team throughout the competition.

Thanks to Ron McBride for providing the photographs below from Irene Minnis’s Presidents day last Saturday.

The fantastic turnout of over 80 members in great weather made for a very enjoyable day for everyone.

Sadly George Leslie passed away recently after a short illness. Funeral service in Moneyreagh Non-subscribing Presbyterian Church on Tuesday 24th Aug at 9:30 a.m.

George joined CI Knock in 2017, and enjoyed playing on the Vets team and on the Men’s B team when it was reintroduced 2 years ago.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and  friends Our deepest sympathy to his wife, Marlene, and family at this sad time .
