Upcoming events at the club

NIWPGL FINALS

These will take place from Friday next August 2nd over the weekend. The current President of The Women’s Private Greens League is our own Nan McBride and our Club has the privilege of hosting the competitions Final Ties. We are calling on as many members as are available to come along and support Nan, and even offer assistance or just watch some bowls. The matches will begin from 10am on the Friday and refreshments will be available throughout the days in the Stewart Room.

COFFEE EVENT

The Club is organising a coffee morning on Friday 23rd August . The purpose of this event is to raise funds for our Presidents chosen charity which is the Motor Neuron Disease Association. We are extending an invitation to everyone to come along anytime from 10.30 am to the Greeves Room, where coffee etc will be served. It’s a great opportunity to support Liz Carson and raise funds for this very important Charity so please invite your friends and keep the date free.

A cover charge per person will be in place of £5 and all proceeds will go to MNDA. Ballot tickets for some excellent prizes will also be available to purchase.

To ensure we are well covered with enough cakes etc, Liz would love to hear from any members who would be willing to provide some extra baking so please get in touch with her if you are able to help.

Leaflets to advertise the event will be available soon.
