CONGRATULATIONS 

To the mid week squad who have clinched the NIPGL Division 2 title, winning 11 matches from 11 played , amassing 67.5 points with 2 games to play.A superb achievement.

Well done to all those who took part this season.

It is with sadness that I advise you of a death within the family of one of our members.

Jeff Raine’s brother in law Tony passed away this week, and to his wife Helen, Jeff, and the family , we extend our sincere sympathy in this time of bereavement.

Some good news to report is that Shane is now out of hospital and continues his recovery at home. He is making steady progress.

It is with sadness that I must advise you of the death of Mr Howard Minnis who passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday evening 16th June. 

Howard, who was one of life’s gentlemen, and a fine bowler, was a former President of Knock Bowling Club, and a member for many years. To his wife Irene, daughter Linda, son Gary, son in law Trevor, and the wider family circle, we extend the sincere condolences of the club and assure them of our thoughts, prayers, and support at this time of deep loss. 

Funeral arrangements will be advised in due course.

It is with regret that I must advise you of the death of Maud Bell, the sister of our esteemed member, Jim McMullen.

To Jim and Valerie, we extend our sincere sympathy on their loss, and assure them both of our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

A service of Thanksgiving will be held in Knock Methodist Church on Monday 9th June at 11am.
