Friday 11th August

        STEVENSON CUP FINAL (Vets 2) v Lurgan Reds

                    at Belmont B.C. (time to be confirmed) 

Congratulations to the gentlemen on their achievement to date.

Let’s hope for some silverware!!

Ladies and Gents,

As the Senior Fours won their semi-final last night at Old Bleach the Mixed Triples Tournament will be postponed, to a date to be arranged, to allow as many as possible to go and support the rink in their final on Saturday at Old Bleach. The time is still to be confirmed depending on results from matches being played this evening.

Louis, Colin, Philip and Denis had a tough match but finished convincing winners in the end, we wish them well as they face the Belmont rink of Norman Thompson, Robin Horner, David Corkill and Raymond Barr in the final.

   President’s Day 2023

President Ron McBride invites you to President’s Day

   Friday 25^th August at 2:00 p.m.

Following the Tournament, a meal will be served in the Greeves Room (5:30 p.m. approx)  

The President has chosen Guide Dogs NI as his Charity, and all members will have the opportunity to donate either in the Pavilion from now on, or on President’s Day.

Promotional materials will be available in the Pavilion and a representative from the charity will attend, with Barley, a Golden Retriever, and address us on President’s Day.

The meal:                 Beef bourguignon (GF)                    

                                 Chicken Curry  (GF)         

                                 Vegetarian option available

                                 Assorted Deserts

                                 Tea / coffee

Cost:        Meal               £8

                Tournament    £4

                Monies will be collected on the day.

Dress Code:    Ladies: club shirt and white trousers

                        Men:    club shirt and grey trousers

For catering purposes, and as numbers are limited to 90, please let me know by 18^th August if you plan to attend the tournament and / or meal and your choice of main course.

Hi everyone

Please find attached details of the QUIZ to be held on August 11 in The Greeves Room.

It will hosted by Roy and Herbie.  There will be nibbles provided and the opportunity to buy tickets for the ballot.

Please put in your diary … we hope for a good attendance! 

There will be a maximum of 60 people.*

If you do not have a table of 4-6, do come along and we will make up tables on the night. 

The cost is £5.00 per person.
